Olympia Travel fleet refreshed by arrival of two new Irizar i6 Integrals
Olympia Travel of Wigan has recently taken delivery of two new 12.9-meter Irizar i6 Integrals.
Both vehicles have been supplied to the customer with 53 seats with spare seats to be up-seated to 55 later in the vehicle’s life.
Both new coaches are identical in specification with three-point seatbelts, seat-back tables and multi-position footrests. Two USB charging points are in place for the driver and courier and both vehicles feature a central sunken toilet and drinks machines for passenger comfort.
Bosch Smart Series audio and Actia DVD systems with two monitors provide onboard entertainment and the vehicles are fitted with an onboard vacuum system to keep the vehicles well-presented whilst in service.
DAF’s advanced MX-11 271 engine with an output of 369 hp drives through a ZF EcoLife automatic transmission.
Olympia Travel is a family-run business with 25 years of operation, providing private, school and corporate hire, in addition to National and European holiday tours. Director Shaun Lewis runs the company today along with his brother Michael.
“It was an easy decision to make, as we have a great all-round relationship with the Irizar UK team.” he states.
“The Aftersales support is always on hand when needed, whether for technical advice or warranty work.”
Stuart Smithson, Area Sales Manager for Irizar UK says “We are proud to work with Olympia Travel once again to increase the Irizar Integral presence within the company’s fleet. The two new coaches, follow on from a previous order back in 2018 for two vehicles, taking the total number of Integrals purchased by Olympia Travel to seven.”
