i6 is a definite ‘plus’ for passengers
Kent-based Passenger Plus has added another i6 Integral from Irizar UK to its fleet of 30 vehicles, its fourth to date.
The Ashford operator is rapidly achieving its aim of having the Euro 6 emissions standard throughout its fleet, with just five vehicles to replace, and says it has more or less standardised on the Irizar product.
“The 12.9-metre two-axle model suits what we do,” said Managing Director Mark Drury. “Our fleet, ranging from eight seats to 53-seaters, spends a lot of time going to London, so it’s essential we have Euro 6.”
The new vehicle has DAF’s MX11 271, 369bhp engine coupled with ZF’s fully-auto Ecolife gearbox. In addition to the standard refinements, Passenger Plus has specified USB sockets along the walls, cant-rail loading lighting and CCTV.
