Prospect collects second i6 Integral
The Irizar i6 on show at last Autumn’s Coach & Bus Live show is now in service with Stourbridge-based Prospect Coaches.
“The build quality stands out,” says General Manager Nathan Hadley. “The engineers have reported how nice it is to work with. It’s been excellent.”
“I have to say Irizar’s backup has been wonderful,” adds MD Roslynd Hadley. “Nothing is too much trouble and if you call them up with an issue, they’re here the next day.”
The i6 joins a fleet of 50 and carries a high spec with 57 recliners, toilet, a DVD system, seat back tables and Icomera WiFi, as is standard across Prospect’s fleet.
Power comes from DAF’s Euro 6 MX11 engine. Drivers have use of a reversing camera and, as with all other Prospect coaches, Alcolock has been installed.
The Prospect team were further impressed with the Irizar product, having visited Busworld Kortrijk, where the i8 was formally launched.
“The i8 is a very, very nice coach,” added Roslyn. “It may be slightly too high spec’d for us right now, but you never know…”
