A new coach has recently been delivered to returning Irizar customer Bryans Coaches of Denny, Scotland. The family-run operator has been in business for over 40 years and has previously had two Integral Irizar coaches on its fleet.
The latest vehicle is 12.9m in length and holds 53 passengers. Conveniences include seatback tables, and multi-position footrests, with 3point seatbelts added for passenger safety.
An onboard toilet is located in the central stairwell for passenger convenience and entertainment is provided via the Bosch audio-visual system. A leather multi-function steering wheel adds a touch of class for the driver.
The new coach is propelled by an efficient DAF MX11 270kw engine, with an output of 367hp, coupled to ZF’s Ecolife Coachline 6-speed fully automatic gearbox.
Featuring a Masats semi-automatic wheelchair lift located in the luggage compartment and destination equipment provided by Hanover Displays, the i6 is fully compliant with PSVAR legislation.
The company has opted for an updated livery design, moving from the previous white and burgundy usually associated with Bryans Coaches, to a crisp blue and white styling, giving a bright modern feel
