Linburg Touring takes delivery of two Irizar Integral coaches

Sheffield-based operator Linburg Touring has taken delivery of its first Irizar Integral coaches, two 14m i6S Efficient coaches.

The tri-axles can comfortably seats up to 63 passengers, with seat-back tables and magazine nets equipped to each seat and USB charging points supplied throughout the saloon to allow passengers the opportunity to charge their devices en route.

Other facilities onboard include an centre toilet with a smoke alarm fitted for safety, and a drivers bunk with access,  located in the central stairwell. Passengers can also benefit from the drinks machine located next to the crew seat which has been supplied by AD Coach Systems.

Onboard entertainment is provided via the Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system teamed with an Actia DVD player and monitors fitted to the front and centre of the saloon.

The tri-axles features DAF’s powerful 11-litre coach engine, the MX-11 330, with an output of 449hp and drives through the sophisticated ZF Ecolife Coachline fully automatic transmission.

Linburg’s new coaches are fully PSVAR compliant and feature a Masat KS8 Semi-automatic wheelchair lift located above the rear axle to maximise luggage space and destination signage supplied by Hanover.

The company’s signature colours of fuchsia and green are featured throughout the vehicle with the Linburg livery complemented by dark-tinted privacy glazing and a coordinated interior. Of the two vehicles, this will be utalised on the company’s tour work with local schools, whilst the other addition is painted into Megabus blue for the company’s Megabus contract.
