Happy Days Coaches based in Whitchurch, part of the Leons Travel Group has recently taken delivery of a new coach, a 12.9m Irizar Integral i6S Efficient.
At 12.9m long, the new coach is equipped with 53 passenger seats. Each seat is equipped with a seat back table, and USB connectivity is fitted to each pair of seats.
Onboard entertainment is provided by the Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system partnered with a Actia DVD player and two monitors located to the front and centre of the vehicle.
Other passenger amenities include an onboard drinks machine and a washroom located in the central stairwell.
A vacuum cleaner system has been installed to enable the highest standards of cleanliness to be maintained when on duty.
The coach is propelled by DAFs smoothly efficient MX11 270kw, OBD-E euro 6 engine, with an output of 408hp, coupled to ZF’s Ecolife 6-speed fully automatic gearbox.
The new coach was specified as PSVAR preparation with Hannover destination equipment. With future-proofing in place, the residual value of the new coach will be protected.
The i6S Efficient features the bright and cheerful livery that Happy Days is known for along with dark-tint privacy glazing and the Irizar signature mirrors to further enhance the kerb appeal of the coach.
Happy Days Coaches has an interesting heritage, starting in 1922 when the company was founded by the Austin family. Operating originally as a coal merchant, the company eventually branched out to provide day trips on the weekends.
Today, the Happy Days brand is owned and operated by the Leons Travel Group and provides an extensive holiday programme throughout the UK and Europe.
