Irizar UK is proud to announce the successful delivery of two new Irizar Integral i6S Efficient PSVAR-compliant coaches to Worksop-based Johnson Brothers Tours. The delivery forms part of Johnson Brothers’ continued investment in high-quality, passenger-focused vehicles and demonstrates their commitment to accessibility, comfort, and operational performance.
The new coaches comprise one 12.9-metre and one 13.2-metre Irizar i6S Efficient model, both built to the highest specifications and fully compliant with PSVAR regulations. The 12.9-metre coach is fitted with an MX11 300 kW engine and features the ZF Ecolife Coachline transmission. It includes 53 passenger seats and is finished in a clean white paint scheme. A drinks machine, supplied and installed by AD Coach Systems, is located adjacent to the courier seat for added passenger convenience.
The 13.2-metre coach features a slightly more powerful MX11 330 kW engine, also paired with the ZF Ecolife Coachline transmission. It too accommodates 53 passengers and has
been finished in Johnson Brothers’ distinctive signature livery, expertly applied by S&G Coachworks. A drinks cupboard solution, manufactured by TM, has been integrated into the central decency screen to enhance the onboard hospitality offering.
Both vehicles are PSVAR compliant, with the 12.9-metre model fitted with a Masats KS7 lift located in the luggage compartment and the 13.2-metre model equipped with a KS8 lift positioned above the rear axle. Destination signage has been installed on the front, side, and rear of both coaches, supplied by Hanover.
Internally, both coaches offer a rear floor-mounted toilet and wood-effect flooring throughout the passenger saloon. A Bosch Smart Series audio system, with monitors installed at the front and centre of the saloon, provides high-quality entertainment and information options. Passengers benefit from USB charging points, seatback tables, and three-point seat belts for added safety and comfort. The driver’s area, aisle, and rear sections are all carpeted for an added premium feel. Exterior features include black tinted privacy glazing, LED lighting, and a leather multi-function steering wheel for enhanced driver comfort and control.
