Ellisons Travel Services has taken delivery of two new Irizar Integral i8 luxury coaches. The latest additions bringing the total number of Irizar Integrals to 39 that the St Helens-based operator has taken since November 2014.
The 14.07-metre, tri-axle vehicles are supplied with 55 full leather comfort seats and are destined for Premiership football duties.
Passenger amenities include a centre toilet with an electric hand dryer and Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system with front and centre monitors.
The seating is equipped with a lateral displacement system, magazine holders, multi-position footrests, USB charging, and seat-back tables.
Both coaches are fully carpeted and feature the guide and driver’s seat in leather for durability.
The i8 Integral features a powerful DAF MX-13 390 530hp engine, driving through the sophisticated ZF Traxon automated manual gearbox.
Safety features include road and reversing cameras, and active cruise control.
Finished in Ellisons signature metallic blue paint and chrome vinyls, black-tinted windows and LED exterior lighting add to the elegance of these stunning coaches.
With the recent Irizar i8 Integral, Ellisons Travel has opted for the digital camera vision system in lieu of traditional mirrors, this pair will join an earlier pair of mirrorless i8 luxury coaches which were the first of their kind in the UK.
