After recently expanding its business services to offer coach holidays, Dorset-based operator Heathside Travel has added another Irizar Integral luxury touring coach to its fleet.
The new Integral takes the form of a triaxle i6S Efficient, in head-turning purple metallic paint and colour changing vinyl. Kerb-appeal is further enhanced with led-exterior lighting and Alcoa black tag alloy wheels.
The coach can seat up to 50 passengers offering generous legroom over the 13.2m body. Each seat is equipped with magazine holders, seatback tables, and 3- point seat belts. USB charging points are fitted to the rear of each pair of seats.
The luxurious styling of the vehicle continues inside, with the passenger seats trimmed with faux leather cushion laterals, headrests, and armrests paired with soft trim to the rear of the seats and seat numbers embroidered onto the headrests in silver stitching. Contrasting double stitching enhances each seat to give a car-like appearance.
Wood effect flooring lines the saloon along with carpet to the centre aisle, driver’s area and rear of the coach. Blue aisle lighting and a leather multi-function steering wheel further enhance the interior styling.
Onboard amenities include a toilet located in the central stairwell and an extended servery area with Nespresso coffee machine and hot and cold-water sink.
Passenger entertainment is provided by the Bosch Smart Series audio system and Actia DVD supplying two monitors.
The i6S Efficient features a powerful DAF MX-13 355 483 hp engine, driving through the sophisticated ZF Traxon automated manual gearbox.
Speaking on the arrival of the latest fleet addition, Managing Director Tim Southby commented “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
