Coach Hire 4 U, based in Luton has recently taken delivery of two Irizar Integral i6S Efficient coaches featuring the new mirrorless digital camera system, which offers optimal panoramic vision in all conditions and improves the aerodynamic performance of the vehicle.
At 14m, the new coaches are furnished with 61 passenger seats, with each seat featuring seat-back tables and USB charging points for passenger convenience. 3 Point seat belts are fitted for passenger safety.
Additional facilities on board include a toilet located in the central stairwell along and onboard drinks machine.
The Integral i6s Efficient features a powerful DAF MX-11 330 449 hp engine, driving through the sophisticated ZF Traxon automated manual gearbox.
Built-in vacuum cleaners will help to maintain the coach in immaculate condition on tour, while the Bosch Smart Series audio and Actia DVD player and two monitors will provide onboard entertainment.
Designers at the Irizar factory collaborated with the operator to refresh the current livery for the new vehicles.
The saloon of the coach is trimmed with wooden effect flooring, and blue led mood lighting provides ambiance throughout the length.
Coach Hire 4 U requested that the vehicle be built to include the provision for PSVAR and hanover destination signage, to enhance the vehicle’s residual value.
The new coaches will be used on the company’s varied private hire work, travelling both in the UK and on the continent.
