The Apprentice shows coach travel at its best

On the second day of Euro Bus Expo, BBC TV’s The Apprentice got visitors talking when it aired an episode featuring two i6 integrals sold by Irizar UK to Stewarts Coaches.

The episode which aired while many operators were at routeONE’s Excellence Awards set the two teams of budding entrepreneurs the task of making a profit from a coach day trip – and showed two high-specification i6s from Stewarts’ fleet to great effect.

“I must congratulate Stewarts for getting this prestigious contract but, in particular, for presenting modern coaches in such a favourable light,” said Julie Hartley, Irizar UK Business Development Manager. “The coaches looked superb, and a credit to the industry.”

We won’t give any spoilers, but suffice to say one Apprentice team visited Blenheim Palace and the other Hever Castle in Kent. Who won? If you missed the episode, it’s on BBC iPlayer HERE.
