The new additions to the fleet feature an economical MX11-270kw (367bhp) engine and ZF Ecolife Coachline transmission.

The coaches are PSVAR compliant and feature a Masats semi-automatic wheelchair lift integrated into the nearside central stairwell, offering an improved passenger experience, along with Hanover destination gear giving clear concise information in bright white light.

Passenger entertainment is provided by the Bosch Smart Series audio system and an Actia monitor located at the front of the vehicle.

The new high-capacity coaches will be operating on a home-to-college contract in Stoke-on-Trent.

Started in 1951 by Harry Shaw as a milk delivery company, Harry moved into road haulage and later into coaches. Purchasing his first coach in 1964, Harry Shaw now operate one of the UK’s largest privately owned coach and travel businesses.
