A new high-capacity coach has joined the fleet at Hills Coaches. The 12.9m Irizar Integral i4 is fitted with 71 seats in a 3+2 configuration.
Interior features include three-point seat-belts, wooden effect flooring, and carpet in the driver’s area, aisle and rear of the vehicle.
The new addition to the fleet features an economical MX11-270kw (367bhp) engine and ZF Ecolife Coachline transmission.
The coach is PSVAR compliant and features a Masats semi-automatic wheelchair lift integrated into the nearside central stairwell, offering an improved passenger experience and minimal disruption to luggage capacity, along with Hanover destination gear giving clear concise information in bright white light.
The light-weighting has resulted in a major reduction in fuel consumption in all versions of the model. Irizar reworked the i4 in 2022 to remove almost a tonne of weight, this reduction along with a better distribution allows for 5% fuel savings.
