A new Irizar Integral i6S Efficient, destined for the Angela Coaches fleet, will be exhibited by Irizar UK at Euro Bus Expo, 3rd – 5th November 2026, before receiving a special livery in honour of one of Angela Coaches’ founding Directors.
The 13.2-metre Super High coach will be named in honour of Hazel Pressley, recognising her involvement in the business and her important place in the company’s history.
Hazel will attend Euro Bus Expo on Tuesday, where she will see the new coach for the first time and discover that it has been named in her honour. Following the exhibition, the vehicle will receive its distinctive new livery featured on a stunning metallic burgundy paint finish complemented by contrasting vinyl graphics. The design will feature Hazel’s name (already in place on the front passenger door), celebrating her contribution to the business and give the coach a unique identity within the Angela Coaches fleet.
Paula Roe, Managing Director of Angela Holidays, and daughter of Hazel said: “Hazel Pressley has been a constant source of love, support and encouragement to our dad and to Angela Coaches since they married in 1966. She has been there through every stage of the journey, from helping with the minibus school runs to supporting the business through its many challenges and successes.
Hazel has always been a driving force behind the family and the business, and her contribution over the years has been immense. She has given a lifetime of commitment, not only to our family and Angela Coaches, but also to the people and community around us.
We felt it was only fitting to dedicate this coach to Hazel as a lasting recognition of everything she has done and the very special part she has played in the history of Angela Coaches.”
Passenger Comfort and Convenience in mind
The new coach has been specified with passenger comfort and convenience in mind. Its 46-seat interior features embroidered sliding headrests, while a rear saloon washroom and a servery, installed by AD Coach Systems, provide additional facilities for passengers travelling on longer journeys.
Following completion of its special livery, the coach will enter service on the Angela Holidays high-quality holiday tour programme. Its comfortable interior, thoughtful specification and modern design will support the company’s commitment to providing an enjoyable travel experience for holidaymakers.
Efficiency and Sustainability
The Irizar i6S Efficient also brings benefits in operational efficiency. Its advanced aerodynamic design and weight-saving measures are engineered to reduce fuel consumption, helping to lower operating costs and associated carbon emissions. Irizar has reported fuel consumption and emissions reductions of up to 15% compared with the preceding model, supporting operators in improving efficiency while reducing their environmental impact.

Naming the new coach after Hazel Pressley recognises the contribution of a founding Director and celebrates the heritage behind the business as it continues to invest in the future of its holiday programme.
The presentation at Euro Bus Expo will mark the beginning of a particularly special chapter for the coach, with Hazel’s first sight of the vehicle providing the opportunity to share the news of the tribute before its bespoke livery is applied.
