Doigs of Glasgow has returned to Irizar (UK) this year for a new Integral i6 coach. The new coach joins the fleet at one of Glasgow’s largest operators which runs over 30 vehicles, from MPV’s through to full-size coaches. The company has been in operation for over 30 years and specialises in private hire.

The 12.9-metre, 55-seat vehicle is powered by a DAF MX11 270kw, OBD-E euro 6 engine, with an output of 367hp, driving through the sophisticated ZF Traxon automated manual gearbox.

Onboard passenger facilities include USB charging points throughout the coach and an onboard toilet located in the central stairwell.

Entertainment is provided by the Bosch Smart Series audio visual equipment and Actia DVD player combined with 2 monitors located at the front and centre of the vehicle.

Doigs have specified PSVAR preparation and with this future-proofing in place, the residual value of the coach will be protected.

Safety features on the new Irizar Integral include AEBS (Advanced Emergency Braking System), LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System) and 3-point seatbelts. Adaptive cruise control (ACC) is included in the standard specification of all Irizar Integral coaches.

Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels with Continental tyres are present on the vehicle and mid-tint side glazing enhances the kerb-appeal of the new coach which is finished in a bright silver metallic paint.
