Mint Coaches gets first Irizar i6 Integral
Kilburn-based London operator Mint Coaches is getting great feedback from its first Irizar i6 Integral.
The 12.9-metre 57-seat coach joins a fleet of 16 vehicles, ranging from nippy 16-seaters up to this, the biggest. The vehicle is equipped inside with i6 Plus seats with lateral slide, mood lighting, a built-in vacuum cleaner, USB sockets under the seats, wi-fi, and a two-screen DVD system.
Mint Coaches – run by Marco Condi and James Morris – has been busy modernising the fleet since 2007 and is now on track to meet London’s ULEZ rules: “It’s taken a while to upgrade the fleet but we’re almost there now,” says Marco, a Director of Mint Coaches. “The coach is brilliant – it’s performing really well and clients love it.”
Mint’s range of work includes corporate and private hire, with quotes coming directly from its modern website. Due to the nature of London work, Mint has specified the ZF Ecolife, fully-automatic gearbox, which is now available for high-torque DAF engines.
