Family-run operator M&D Travel, based in Stockton-on-Tees has added a new Irizar Integral i6s Efficient coach to its fleet.

At 12.9m long, the new coach is equipped with 53 passenger seats. Each seat is equipped with a seat back table, and USB connectivity. Other passenger amenities include an onboard drinks machine and a washroom located in the central stairwell. 3-point seat belts are fitted for passenger safety.
M&D Travel requested that the vehicle be built to full PSVAR standards, including a Masats semi-automatic wheelchair lift located in the luggage compartment and Hanover destination equipment to the front, side, and rear of the vehicle.
Entertainment is provided by the Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system and Actia DVD player supplied with 2 monitors.
The coach is propelled by DAFs economical MX11 300kw, OBD-E euro 6 engine, with an output of 408hp, coupled to ZF’s Ecolife Coachline gearbox.
