Amport and District Coaches of Weyhill, Andover has taken delivery of a new Irizar i6S Efficient Integral coach, powered by DAF.
At 12.9m long, the new coach is equipped with 53 passenger seats, each seat is equipped with magazine nets, footrests, seat-back tables, and USB connectivity, 3-point seat belts are added for safety. Additional features of the vehicle include a centre toilet, audio, and video functions with two monitors and an onboard drinks machine supplied and fitted by AD Coach Systems.
The coach is PSVAR compliant and features a Masats semi-automatic wheelchair lift integrated into the luggage compartment, along with Hanover destination gear giving clear concise information in bright white light.
The coach is propelled by DAFs smoothly efficient MX11 300kw, OBD-E euro 6 engine, with an output of 408hp, coupled to, ZF’s Ecolife 6-speed fully automatic gearbox.
