Doigs customers like their new i6s
Doigs of Glasgow’s first DAF-powered Integral i6s are living up to expectation with both the operator and their customers.
The pair of 57-seat, 12.9-metre coaches are delivering good economy and showing how flexible they can be in a largely urban operation, said Director Iain Forsyth: “The attraction was getting 57 seats with good legroom on two axles,” he said, echoing many other operators of the DAF PACCAR powered Integral model.
“They have plenty of luggage space and, more importantly, are popular with our customers.” Doigs specified half-leather seats and seatback tables, plus the standard hot drinks console but a whole raft of ‘extras’ come as standard on the i6 integral.
The coaches join a fleet of 20 vehicles engaged in a variety of contract, corporate and private hire work, serving the Glasgow area.
