Returning Irizar UK customer Amport & District Coaches based in Hampshire, has taken delivery of two new Irizar Integral i6S Efficient touring coaches, this is the third consecutive year where the operator has opted for the marque.
The pair of luxury coaches are propelled by an efficient DAF MX11 300kw, OBD-E euro 6 engine, with an output of 402hp, coupled to ZF’s Ecolife Coachline 6-speed fully automatic gearbox.
The 12.9 metre, single-axle vehicles seat up to 53 passengers, providing them with magazine nets and USB charging points. An onboard drinks machine located above the washroom, along with seat back tables, allows guests to enjoy refreshments along the journey.
3-point seat belts are fitted for passenger safety.
Entertainment on board is provided by the Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system and DVD player connected to two monitors supplied to the front and centre of the efficient coaches.
Whilst the interior specification of both vehicles is the same, Amport & District opted for one coach to be compliant with PSVAR requirements, featuring a Masat KS7 semi-automatic lift in the luggage compartment, Tecam quick-release seats, and destination signage provided by Hanover.
