Cleveland-based operator Coatham Coaches has recently taken delivery of two new Irizar Integral coaches, in the form of the high-capacity i4 and the stylish i6s Efficient.
At 12.9m in length, the i4 can carry 70 passengers in a 3+2 seating configuration. 3-Point seat belts are fitted for passenger safety.
Featuring a Masats semi-automatic wheelchair lift integrated into the nearside central stairwell, and Hanover destination equipment the coach is compliant with PSVAR standards.
Hosting 53 passengers over 12,9m, the i6s Efficient is furnished with seat-back tables, multi-position footrests and USB charging points fitted to each pair of seats.
Other onboard amenities include a toilet located in the central stairwell and a drinks machine.
Coatham Coaches specified PSVAR preparation with destination equipment only on the i6s Efficient. With future-proofing in place, the residual value of the new coach will be protected.
Onboard entertainment to the pair is provided by the Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system and Actia monitors.
Both vehicles feature DAF engines from the MX11 range, with the i4 featuring the 270kw (367bhp) engine, whilst the i6s Efficient features the 300kw (408bhp) variant and both vehicles drive through the ZF Ecolife Coachline transmission.
